A new brand for Transdev’s buses in York needed to be able to stand out from the crowd but still compliment the heritage of the city. The outcome being a deep and regal two-tone blue reflecting York’s historical importance and the three Yorkist Kings.
Playful rears highlight attractions and activities that can be reached on York & Country buses. No 3rd party advertising ensures that this key area is used to sell the advantages of using the bus.
White leased buses operate on the 42, careful vinyl treatment allowed them to blend and be consistent with the rest of the fleet.
The new York & Country brand was applied to printed literature with bespoke illustrations creating a unified suite of leaflets.

The new identity reflects Transdev’s expansion in York and further into the North Yorkshire countryside whilst engaging with the great history of the city.”
